Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

I don't think this day could have been more perfect! Our driver Phil was excellent - knowledgeable, fun, thoughtful, experienced, gracious, well organized and ready to adapt to changing situations. Yosemite was amazingly beautiful; it is a day I will remember forever. I would definitely recommend this tour company.

I can not recommend this tour enough, honestly, this tour was fantastic, made even better by our tour guide Phil! If you want to go on any tour to Yosemite, it has to be this one! Phil was absolutely fantastic, and was so knowledgeable. Every question he was asked he knew the answer, and he was really friendly and enthusiastic about everything which was really nice! The tour itself is fantastic, it’s a long day with an early start and a late (ish) finish but it is 100% worth it! You start with the pickups which are all really well streamlined and Phil gave us so much history about each place we passed through on our journey starting with some history about San Francisco. The journey to Yosemite itself felt relatively short, largely due to the interaction we had with Phil combined with a stop midway to Yosemite as a toilet/coffee/buy a pack-up break. Once in the park itself, I can not begin to describe how beautiful the entire park is! The whole bus were in awe every single turn we made we were taken back by the magnificence of what we were experiencing. The tour stops in really great spots and Phil gave us fantastic pointers on where to get the best photos, and gave us options of which routes we could take for the small hikes and different lunch options. Throughout our tour Phil fed us so much knowledge about everything we were seeing, driving by and stopping at. When we got off the bus at El Capitan, Phil set up a telescope and brought binoculars so we could see the climbers scaling the sheer sides of the rock which was a really nice extra touch. There are plenty of stops on this tour, and you have plenty of time to take in the scenery and get lots of photos while you’re at it! Our tour was made up of 9 + Phil so was a really intimate tour. The van was perfect! The A/C kept the bus at a nice temperature. We were slightly uncomfortable with the temperature, but we are from a much cooler country than the rest of the group, but we were happy for the bus to be warmer to accommodate everyone else! The seats were comfy and we had plenty of space too! This really is an amazing tour, and a day we will never forget!

The Yosemite tour with Best Bay tours was phenomenal! The assigned guide (Brian) text me days before to confirm pickup details. which they come to your hotel - can’t beat that! Brian remained in communication up to and during the tour. The ride there and back was great. Brian showed great videos and gave some very informative details. While there, Brian ensured we were safe, able to see from the best angles and he even had riding games with prizes. I definitely recommend this company, tour and Brian!
