Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

This trip was one on our bucket list! As many have mentioned, it is a long day but the experience and beauty of Yosemite was incredible (pictures do not do it justice). The trip had several stops both to and back for both food/restrooms. Our guide knew the area well and shared many great facts. We stopped several times to take photos and we had two 1 1/2 - 2 hour blocks of time to hike/explore on our own. The only issue we had was the transportation. We were one of the last pick-ups so my husband and I had to sit in the back of the van with two teens (there are 4 seats that run along the back and the teens parents sat up front). The van’s seating was not only tight (the teen and I were sitting closer than if we were on an airplane) but the AC didn’t seem to cool the back well. With 4 hours there and back on winding roads, it was a uncomfortable 8 hours.

Our guide Victor was lovely! He made the day not only educational but fun. It was a long day well spent. Especially nice to stop off at the roadside “sons” fruit stand. Highly recommend!

Alberto was a very professional, helpful and friendly tour guide. He went out of his way to make the experience comfortable and interesting for us with good humour and great organisation during the day from early until late!
