Overview

After the morning manatee tour relax on the afternoon Rainbow River drift where you can snorkel or scuba dive. The Rainbow River, a Florida spring, is unmatched with crystal clear water and over 200 feet of visibility. See many different varieties of fish,turtles and other wildlife up close. Discover fossils coming out of the different springs dotting the bottom. At the end of the drift is a small cavern where Sun fish hangout in abundance. This drift dive or snorkel can be enjoyed by the whole family.

The dive was amazing; the people at American Pro Diving Center are exceptional: Divemaster Rodney, Captain Ryan, smiling Abby in the shop, & co-owner Paul... each was friendly, helpful, and professional. I happily shared my dive with a mother & daughter who joined for a Discover Scuba... they were natural and enthusiastic first-time scuba divers. On a remarkably cold 45F & overcast day, the water was a warm 72F & crystal clear - admittedly a welcome improvement for this Pennsylvania quarry diver. After Rodney completed new diver skills training with the ladies in a small shallow cove, we descended then drifted downriver for more than an hour. We saw fields of waving sea grass, sand boils, schools of gar, and the coolest for me: cormorants swimming above and below the surface. At the end of our dive, Captain Ryan greeted us on the boat with towels and steaming cups of hot chocolate. All rental gear and vehicles were in excellent condition. I can recommend American Pro without hesitation. I'll be back for sure... for other excursions and to repeat the Rainbow River dive with buddies.

My friend and I had a great time. The rainbow river dive was perfect, peaceful and beautiful. Orville was such a great guide. He showed us all the best spots during the dive. Aiden, the captain was also very helpful with making sure we got the most out of our experience by pointing out wild life and being at our side in case we needed him. Definitely would recommend!

The trip over with American Pro was comfortable and convenient. Their boat was very nice, and our guide and boat captain were friendly and entertaining.
