Explore San Diego's hidden gem of snorkeling! Everyone who visits San Diego knows about La Jolla, but did you know there's an even better snorkeling spot? Avoid the big waves and crowds with this more relaxed snorkel experience geared for all skill levels.

I taught middle and high school marine biology for more than a decade before committing to environmental tourism! With fifteen years of teaching youth and adults in outdoor education settings, plus my background in conservation biology, provides guests with in-depth (pun intended) knowledge of marine life during our snorkel.

Groups are small (maximum of 5 participants, with occasional exceptions for private groups/families) which makes a more intimate and personal experience.

Had a fun time with Matt and another guest. We saw many fishes, octopi, sea urchins, and more. He knew just where to look and told interesting facts on each creature. He was very hospitable in helping us with proper snorkeling and other logistics and tips as a local. Thanks a lot, Matt!

I had never snorkeled before this experience, so I was a little nervous. But Matt was so kind and professional and did an amazing job ensuring I felt secured and prepared. And it was so fun! We saw so many marine creatures. Matt is very knowledgeable about the animals so did a great job explaining their habitat and traits. It was informative and fun! I’d absolutely go on any other tours Matt hosts in the area, without a doubt!

One of my favorite experiences! If you're traveling to San Diego, I would highly recommend taking the time to snorkel with Matt. He is extremely knowledgable about the marine life in the area and does a great job explaining it. He is also great at teaching snorkeling and makes the experience easy and accessible for all. Would definitely recommend - one of the highlights of my trip!
