Overview

The Snorkeling in Maunalua Bay at a site famous for the daily sighting of the green sea turtle. With only two operators conducting a snorkel tour in this area, it is a much less crowded experience. Upon arrival at the snorkeling site, you will be briefed by our staff and then begin your incredible adventure to explore the Hawaiian ocean. You will snorkel over beautiful tropical reefs while enjoying the colorful fish, corals, and amazing green sea turtles of Hawaii in their natural ecosystem.

Dive instructor Kirk was great and very helpful throughout the entire experience. Captains Matt and Jeff did a great job of operating the water craft so that we had a smooth enjoyable trip. The whole experience was awesome and it didn’t feel at all rushed.

We had a great time. It’s not a big fancy place but what they lack in fancy they make up for in friendly! They take you about a mile off shore to 30 ft deep waters. There were 4 of us all strong swimmers in our mid 40s to early 50s. None of us are avid sea swimmers so when we first got in we all found ourselves feeling a bit out of sorts. Even with thoughts of “I should go back to the boat”. But after a few minutes and taking the time to get our masks and snorkels just right we were off and loving it. In full honesty we saw about 4 turtles, but tons of fish and the water was beautiful. You all wear a floatation vest and you can deflate it when/if you’re comfortable so you can dive down. The guides also have raft type floats to pull swimmers out to the best spots without you having to swim. The guides are knowledgeable and personable. We had an excellent time.

Loved the excursion. The crew was amazing. We saw turtles, lots of fish, and even eels. Will be taking this tour again if we ever go back to Hawaii.
