Sol Duc, Lake Crescent, and Hurricane Ridge Guided Tour in Olympic National Park

Overview
This 9 Hour Guided Tour begins with a scenic drive through the Elwha Valley and around Lake Crescent to reach the Sol Duc River Valley. At the Sol Duc, we will enjoy a two mile guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, one of Olympic National Park's most picturesque waterfalls. After exploring the Sol Duc, our guests will wrap up the morning explorations at Lake Crescent, a stunning, glacier-carved lake that is outlined by beautiful mountains. From the historic Lake Crescent Lodge, guests can enjoy time on trail hiking or enjoy the views from the well-positioned lodge. After stopping in Port Angeles, our tour continues with a scenic drive from sea-level to 5,242 feet elevation atop Hurricane Ridge. Upon arrival, our guide will lead a guided hike along the subalpine nature trails to enjoy views of the meadows, peaks, and river valleys of the Olympic Mountains.

Olympic Hiking Co. provided an amazing winter snowshoe adventure. We were total novices and we were given lessons before we began. This gave us confidence to experience something we never had tried. Tommy knows the winter conditions on the mountain as well as having expertise in the Olympic National Park and its wonders. He also was keenly aware of our varying abilities and made the trip fun for us all. This wasnā€™t just an outing, it was an experience that we will always recall.

My boyfriend and I did the guided snowshoe tour with Tommy at Hurricane Ridge. We were blown away by the beauty of Olympic National Park and were able to enjoy every second of the day thanks to our excellent guide. Tommy made sure to tailor the day to our specific goals and physical abilities. Being from Florida, we were worried about driving in the snow and safely navigating the mountains during winter. We wouldn't have had such an unforgettable experience without this tour. The company offers other guided tours in the peninsula that we wish we had more time to take advantage of. We felt perfectly safe with their COVID precautions. 10/10 recommend!!!

Our guide was well experienced, knowledgeable and good company. The hike was well paced and there was plenty of time to enjoy the 360 views and plenty of fun facts about Olympic National Park's natural features and ecosystem. Left with a new appreciation of the PNW.
