1
Soho Playhouse
The spot where this playhouse now stands was once the home of Aaron Burr, third vice-president, and, if you know your history or have seen "Hamilton", the man who killed Alexander Hamilton. The Vandam Playhouse was built here in 1826, making it the oldest off-Broadway playhouse in the city.
2
The New York Earth Room
This unique art exhibit is an opportunity to reconnect with Mother Nature, and the only exhibit of its kind left in the world.
3
Elizabeth Street Garden
This spectacular sculpture garden is comprised of artworks donated by a local resident.
4
Italian American Museum
This cultural institution was once a bank and once-stop-shop, and is being renovated, with plans for the additions to be opened in Fall 2022.
5
Museum of Chinese in America
Established in 1980, the museum benefitted from a grant from Carnegie Corporation. It caught fire in 2021, and reopened in 2021.
