What to Expect: We care about your health and safety. Please note that as of August 19, 2021, New York City is requiring a COVID-19 vaccination for admission to the Guggenheim for anyone who is eligible. At arrival, you will need to present valid vaccination documentation and a photo ID prior to gaining entry to the museum. Proof of vaccination may include NYC COVID Safe app, New York State Excelsior Pass, CDC Vaccination Card (or photo), NYC Vaccination Record, or an official immunization record from outside NYC or the U.S. More information can be found here. Children below the age of 12 will be allowed in with a vaccinated adult.

You’ll need to wear a three-ply mask regardless of vaccination status — staff is required to, too — practice social distancing, wash or sanitize your hands frequently, and pack light as our coat check is temporarily closed. Please plan ahead and read COVID-19 Safety Measures:

The entire Guggenheim exhibif of fine Art had been removed and they had a ridiculous silk screen musical program in its place. It was a complete waste of our time and money

Beautiful building inside and out. There were some halls that were closed when I went so you might want to see if they’re open before going. It was just the second floor and the top floor that had art to look at, plus the main one entry way. Great gift shop too

The admissions price is a rip-off. There were only three small galleries open and there is at most 30 minutes of stuff to see in this museum.
