What to Expect: We care about your health and safety. Please note that as of August 19, 2021, New York City is requiring a COVID-19 vaccination for admission to the Guggenheim for anyone who is eligible. At arrival, you will need to present valid vaccination documentation and a photo ID prior to gaining entry to the museum. Proof of vaccination may include NYC COVID Safe app, New York State Excelsior Pass, CDC Vaccination Card (or photo), NYC Vaccination Record, or an official immunization record from outside NYC or the U.S. More information can be found here. Children below the age of 12 will be allowed in with a vaccinated adult.

that is my second time visit.. I made a short trip to new york, visited Met, MomA, and lastly Guggenheim. among all the 3 museums, Guggenheim is the least interesting one. there are not many exbitis, half of the paiting is of Kandisky's.. it lacks the diversities.. I think it is for someone really interests at the time of period of art. it is a very small exhibition. I went there partially because of F.L. Wright's building. It is still interesting over all. The ticket is expansive for what it is. 25 adult and 18 for my 12 years old. (Moma and met are free for this age group). But it might be a private / subsidised reason. we went this week, and it is quiet crowed.

Very beautiful museum however I was surprised about the amount of collections: I was definitely expecting more artwork at the place. We really loved the Thannhauser collection but those are also couple of pieces. Kandinsky was nice as well but Cecilia Vicuña did not really belong to that museum I found the pieces horrifying..not the best value for money - we should have chosen another museum as a third city pass attraction. Not really a lot to see here but a huge gift shop…

All I expected it to be, the building is sublime. The icing on the cake was the Kandinsky exhibition which was wonderful. Starting with his final work, and we wound our way up the ramp to his first drawings. Busy but able to view the work sufficiently to come away with satisfaction I had viewed a morsel of this great collection.. The cafe is also worth a visit for the design of the windows and view. I did not visit the other exhibitions. There is a comment about the toilets, which I found to be excellent modernist designs, or potentially reproduction thereof. The detail of the floor and the drinking fountains are a delight. Yes, the building architecturally is well worth the visit alone. Choose your exhibitions carefully if you want to see Solomon's collection at all.
