We were six women ranging in age from 31 to 65. We had all ridden before, but for some of us it had been a while. The ranch personnel did a great job of matching us with their horses. After doing a food tour of Sonoma and of course some wine tasting, this was a nice way to see another side of Sonoma. After getting us on the horses and giving us a little safety talk, we spent about an hour and a half on the trail. There were some great views of the lake and a nice ride through the forest. The horses all had their own personality which kept this from being just another nose to tail trail ride. I would definitely recommend The Ranch at Lake Sonoma.

Our ride was on a beautiful fall day. Our guide was great and the ride was amazing with views of the lake and through the forrest. Horses were well trained and our morning ride was perfect. Highly recommend for a family outing!
