This was our third time riding at The Ranch at Lake Sonoma. As always, Nikki and David made us feel right at home (and so did Merle, the dog). The area was experiencing an unprecedented heat wave with afternoon high temperatures well into the triple digits, so a couple of days ahead, when we saw the forecast, we called ahead to ask whether we should cancel our reservation, a little bit nervous about whether it would be safe to go out. Nikki was very accommodating, and moved our noon ride earlier by an hour to avoid the worst heat of the day--better for us, better for the horses, better for our guide. We love that Nikki and David not only take good care of their guests, but they take good care of the horses, too. We are horse owners ourselves, and our horse is a beloved family member, so it meant a lot to us to see how committed Nikki and David are to treating their horses well. The ride was beautiful, and our guide, Autumn, was not only super-professional and careful, but she was delightful company. We will surely be back!

We are so glad you had a nice time with Autumn. The horses are our babies and customers we consider our friends, we want to have a good time as much as you do so we are always happy to accomodate! Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and hopefully soon we can see you a fourth time!
