Hop aboard this historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

What To Expect

Sonoma Valley

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

Our trolley wine tour took place August 11,2022. Our trolley driver Jimmy was the best. He was patient, funny and professional. He knew when he needs to tell us about facts and when to entertain us. In addition, he was our photographer and our lunch which was delicious took place in a very beautiful setting. I will do the trolley wine tour again with Jimmy next time we visit Sonoma. Jimmy is the best. He anticipated our needs and met them in a timely manner.

Lexi(?) was the most wonderful driver and guide. So professional and friendly. The four wineries we visited were all very friendly, although we felt that we were not given much time to taste our different wine samples at the place we stopped for lunch (VJB?). The wine was lovely at all the stops. A wonderful day out in a beautiful part of the world.
