What To Expect

Sandy Feet Sandcastle Services

A qualified instructor will meet you at beach access #16, located at 4400 Gulf Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas. There you will learn a series of techniques for building and carving a better sandcastle. This is hands-on instruction, and in 1 hour you will have a completed (or mostly completed) sand castle, perfect for a family photo op.

This is a must-do activity when visiting South Padre Island! We had so much fun and learned a lot from Jose.

I booked my husband and I for Sandcastle 101. He went along but wasn't excited about it. We had Sandy and she quickly showed us how people build sandcastles wrong and how to do it right! It was fascinating. We both had a fantastic time and had a great sandcastle by the end of our 1.5 hour lesson. Sandy shows how you can use simple everyday items to build a masterpiece.

We had Anubis come to our condo and teach us how you really build sand castles. It was a great time. My young adult kids both loved it and can not wait to try out their new skills the next time we are at the beach. (It was hot and the beginning does take some work, would recommend booked as early as possible or in the evening).
