What To Expect

Southold Bay Oysters

Upon arrival, you will learn about the process of spawning oysters in a hatchery. Then, the tour will move to the grow-out phase where oysters grow into market size shellfish. Our tour is outdoors outdoors and fun. You will get to meet our baby oysters!

Excellent & fascinating tour. I've been shucking & eating oysters for many years, yet I learned so much more from this tour. Ben is a true gem. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about oysters and he presents it all with a great personality and sense of humor. Finished the tour in a gorgeous bayside setting, shucking & enjoying the freshest oysters and a good local wine.

We did the oyster shucking lesson at our house. Lesson was great and alot of fun. Would highly recommend. Oysters were also delicious!
