What To Expect

Southold Bay Oysters

Upon arrival, you will learn about the process of spawning oysters in a hatchery. Then, the tour will move to the grow-out phase where oysters grow into market size shellfish. Our tour is outdoors outdoors and fun. You will get to meet our baby oysters!

Great View of Southold Bay - Your experience concludes with an oyster shucking lesson and a waterfront sample of our Southold Shindig Oysters. Bring your camera! (who uses a camera these days)

Awesome tour and very informative. Tour guides are magnificent seed oyster farm. Never knew much about oysters. View was great by the Southold Sound eating oysters and wine. Check it out.

I went to the Northfork for my 25th Anniversary. The concierge at our hotel recommended the Southold Bay Oyster Farm Tour. It was amazing! The owners ran the tour. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about oysters farming. We learned so much and then had an oyster/wine tasting. I highly recommend this!

This tour was amazing!!! We learned how oysters are farmed and at the end of the tour we enjoyed an abundance of oysters, paired with a generous amount of wine from local vineyards!! We also received a gift which was a great oyster knife!! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits or lives on the east end of Long Island, NY!!
