This place needs to be re-organized, updated, and get rid of their member only lines and admission. What a joke! I'll start with their Member Only Program. Basically if you buy 4 tickets it justifies being a member which is about the cost of 4 tickets. I bought 4 tickets but was never told about that offer. Once inside you'll wish you had the member package. Everything has a line, and I mean a long line. But if you are a member they let you pass the Que and go right to front of the line. No matter how many "members" there are they bypass everyone. This was for the tram ride which I will get back to. Waiting and waiting and then watching tram after tram filled 70-80% full of members got beyond frustrating. No one even checked to see if they actually had that package. It was obvious anyone who didn't purchase the "member" package were highly annoyed and frustrated. They need to figure that out. I would not waste your time going here until they figure this out. The tram tour basically drives you past a bunch of buildings Getting out twice. The 2nd time waiting in a long Que again watching members board tram after tram just so you can get out of there! I will never go back. They entice you with the replica Shuttle outside and the rest is just a disappointment. I hope someone works to make their process and facility better.

As someone who has been interested in space ever since I was a young child, and an Apollo geek for many years, I was excited to visit the Space Center and see all the things I've always heard about first hand. What I hadn't banked on was the interpretation being quite so poor. From the first rooms telling the story of US spaceflight, something wasn't quite right. Exhibits were labelled inconsistently, and the lights in the Apollo cabinets weren't even on, requiring me to use my phone torch to read - the whole place is very dark to start off with. Outside to the Shuttle and Carrier combination. Try as I might, I was not able to work out the provenance of the Shuttle itself at the museum. I assumed it was a replica due to my knowledge of the programme, but I only was able to find this out after the event. It was clear from hearing them speak that a lot of visitors thought it was a real, space flown vehicle. The ISS exhibit felt... underwhelming. In fact the whole museum felt underwhelming. So much more could have been done with the fantastic history and artifacts they have available to them. Last to mention is the Tram Tours. Although these are "fine", a major issue is not being able to get off at Rocket Park on the way back from the Mission Control tour, meaning that you have to wait for another tram, and spend half an hour visiting a fairly dull building containing mockups of the ISS - basically a room full of white, featureless tubes. All in all - if you're not a massive space fan, this probably isn't worth the bother and certainly isn't worth the money, and if you are, please temper your expectations accordingly.

Very enjoyable. Lots of things to see and do. Fascinating tour of Mission Control. Even the food at the Zero G Diner was excellent. Gift shop was great, too. We didn't expect to spend 5 hours there, but we got absorbed by everything. I wish we had had more time to see the Saturn V rocket, but it was our departure day and we had to get to the airport.
