I arrived on Sunday the 10th and had a timed ticket for the Mission control center tour. Upon arrival we were told the tour was canceled by NASA. We were a bit disappointed and spoke with Jeremy Stark at the service desk. He was actually really kind and listened to our complaints. He tried to make it right by reserving us for the timed ticket the next day and though he wasn’t in, he had Andrew Vargas help me in lieu. Everything worked out right and I was surprised by how kind they all were. Serious commitment to service and any organization should be honored to have such dedicated employees. My wife and I got our bucket list done in visiting the space center which was a cool experience. My favorite was the rocket tour which shows you the giant rocket and all it’s stages that detach as it reaches further and further into space. On Veterans Day it was not busy at all. We upgraded to the membership level to priority board because we heard of horrible wait times from our friends but it was not bad at all for us or I imagine anyone else that day.

The tram tour, in my opinion, is overrated. I was expecting to see Mission Control, however, it was not to be. However, we saw lots of large building and rockets laying on their side. The tour guide speaking on the tram was inaudible. Fortunately, the wait for the tram was not too long on the day we went; I can't imagine standing in line for an hour+ for this "ride". Felt like Disney World. As they say, "one and done".

This was one thing that we wanted to do when we visited Houston but we expected it to be a big bigger. The one thing we wanted to do was see the mission center of the moon landing. We went right in and got our tickets but they were for a late time. We looked around at everything but we still had time before our mission center tour. I did like that I could touch a moon rock and see the space suits. But the best part was the tram tour to the mission center. That was fanastic!
