I traveled from Ohio to see the restored Apollo Mission Control. And, that alone was worth the admission price. It was inspiring, emotional and incredibly impressive. However, the REST of this place is stunning as well. I am shocked some people think you can see everything in 3-4 hours. My son and I spent a full six hours on a Sunday and we had to skip some things.

We both enjoyed this visit and especially the mission control trolley tour. It was quite emotive to sit in the refurbished mission control room and listen to recordings of the first moon landing, we were 16 when this event took place originally. The displays in the mail plaza were interesting with a lot for kids to do but the independence plaza with a time line and models of the space lab, lunar landing etc were most interesting to us. The only downside was the lack of a paper map of the exhibits though I understand the move away from paper, we had not downloaded the app and nearly missed a major part. So, I recommend you download or print off the floor plan before you go! Or maybe the facility could have big screens around the place with floor plans.

Spent the day with the wife and kids exploring and learning. Got to visit mission control at NASA. Learned about future Mars missions. Got to see the Saturn 5 rocket.
