Amazing experience! The historical Apollo missions control room is wonderful - make sure you get on board of the tram getting you there quite early, otherwise you may wait an hour and a half or so in line. Great exhibitions and meetings with astronauts.

We have visited the museum with our two children (7 and 9 years old). The children were excited and we as well about what we have seen there. The museum is simply great! It has excellent dinosaurs exhibition with really great fossils and great visualisations representing the moments. A part of it the other exhibitions were also brilliant - Egyptian, Indians, wildlife etc. Highly recommended to be visited!

We came to Houston a day before our cruise to visit this museum. We paid $120 for 4 of us and we was going to spend there at least few hours. However, after an hour we realized, that there is not much left to do. The only wow factor there is the faded 747 with the shuttle on top, but 15-20 minutes is more than enough to observe it. It not even close to Space Museum in Washington, DC (with free admission btw)
