Excellent and quite experience for my child and my professional career as engineer to meet and to remember the space technology and development along the last 50 years. Wonderful to share with my family this experience to know rockets, space modules and telemetry and control technology. You have to do it sometime in your life. My visit was in 2004.

This was my second visit to the space center. I brought my grandson for his first time this summer knowing he would love the hands-on science exhibits. Unfortunately, most of them were broken and the couple working had long waiting lines. It’s confusing upon entering this huge building with so many exhibits in different directions and no map to guide you to be sure that you see everything that was offered. The trams take you to different areas and drop you off but the wait outside to be picked up in 105 degree weather for 40 mins was unbearable. My takeaway from this was to be sure to visit here during winter months.

We arrived as the center opened with four hours before needing to leave for the airport. To get the most out of the day, it was important to schedule the mission control tour time first, and then to get onto one of the other tram tours. Each tram tour takes an hour to 1.5 hours not counting waiting in line. The lines are shortest right as the center opens. Going on the two tours left us about 45 minutes to explore the center which was very, very rushed. The exhibits are great. It is not unrealistic to spend six hours here taking multiple tram tours.
