So much to do for everyone in the family: hands-on activities, memorabilia from past space missions, shuttle and carrier to walk through, short films to see, demonstrations of what it is like to live in space, tram tours around the NASA campus and to certain buildings, and much more. To get the most out of your day, be there when it opens (9 am or 10 am depending on the time of year) and go do at least one tram tour immediately to save on line wait time. Look on the doors to the tram area to see which tour you are going to go on or you might get in the wrong line (or ASK a worker). All tours make a final stop at Rocket Park where the Saturn V is housed. Meals are expensive but some, like the chicken tenders combo, can be shared by people with small to normal appetites. On Fridays an astronaut gives a talk once in the late morning and then again in the early afternoon. Check out the Space Center Houston website for details about tours and special events on dates you plan to attend.
