This should have been great but it’s so badly organised and poorly communicated unless you have the app. Now for someone ( overseas visitor ) without a US mobile that’s impossible . Feel sorry for elderly ( technology as exclusion). At entrance, poor communication about queue and which queue if you needed to purchase a ticket. Then photo stop, but no one said check your photo immediately because if you leave it a while, it’s been wiped! Then not easy to get a plan, had to queue. Then no explanation of booking tours, I really wanted to see Control Centre but no tickets, only blue tickets left. Got a blue but went back at time she stated there might be some more released to be told as I have a blue, I could not book for a white (Control], so told to come back at 1 pm. Did the blue tour and the guide was so inaudible you could only catch every tenth word. Good to see the training area but the guide was awful. Got back and joined the 1 pm queue when tickets would be released. Watched lots of employees doing nothing behind desk. Get to end of queue only to be told could only have a white ticket for after 3pm! No way, we had to travel onwards so could not wait another 2 hrs for a 1 hr tour. We started our day at 10 am, if someone had explained better, we might have managed to see at least 2 things. Too many young staff, not enough leaders. Absolutely chaotic. Also Saturday visit was manic, over noisy, over stimulation, chaotic. ☹️We cut our losses and left. Shame because had always wanted to go to NASA. IT could be so much more professionally managed.

The well-presented information on the complete history of the US space exploration program, and on future missions. The ninety-minute tour of the engineering building, and of the rocket building were the highlights. We went during the week in October, and it was fairly crowded, and I bet it might be much more so during the summer or holidays. You need at least four hours to rush through all the sights, however if possible, you may want to devote a day to this adventure. There are discounts for senior citizens and free for children three and under. Parking was sufficient when we went. The entry fee for adults was in the $40 range.
