Our family decided to visit the Space Center after our cruise from the Galveston port since our flight was in the evening. We were able to check in our luggage with customer service. They did charge $7 per piece of luggage which was stored in a room just outside the front entrance (it would have been nice if that was complimentary). The Space Centre was amazing and we enjoyed the NASA Johnson Space Center Tram Tour which was included with the admission. Be sure to book that right away when you arrive at the center. You could sign up for the tour using the app but we went Guest Services to book ours. We spent 4.5 hours here before we had to leave to catch our flight and we felt we saw most of the displays. Thank you for Pooja from Guest Services that helped our large family book our tours, provide change for the souvenir machines, and also helping retrieve our luggage at the end of our visit.

I was impressed with the extensive exhibits and kid friendly rides. My children loved going to see in the large rocketship outside. The staff was helpful although there was a long wait to get in due to the line. However I was disappointed when I asked about the tram tour and they said it was full. I was turned away and I had just gotten there early in day, I then happened to see the tram running later that day, so I was lied to.. why I am not sure?

Fun time for all. There were lots to do and adventures. We loved the hands on activities. We didn't see the alligator in the river. The longhorns had the biggest longhorns I have seen.
