What a great experience! The space needle was so much fun. I enjoyed the open top deck as well as the rotating glass floor on the lower deck. Don’t forget to use the mounted cameras to take a selfie. The Chihuly museum was incredible. I liked the audio clips, with interviews with the artist to explain the ideas behind the pieces.

I have been to Seattle many times but never took the time to go to the Space Needle. Wow - what a cool experience! Of course, the view from the top is awesome and we were lucky to be there on a clear day. I was worried about going up the elevator with COVID but masks were required and talking prohibited. In addition, they have special air filters. The ride up only took about 40 seconds. The Chihuly exposition was extraordinary and worth the time. There indoor and outdoor displays. The shapes, sizes and colors will leave you speechless.

Though very different experiences, these attractions are located near each other thus warranting a combination ticket if interested in seeing both. We arrived before 11:00AM and were treated to a further discount on top of that which is offered with the combination ticket. The Space Needle has become a different experience over the years without the restaurant and with the addition of the clear floor to stand on while it revolves. Still can see some excellent views of Seattle and Puget Sound. The Chihuly Gardens didn't disappoint as this proved to be an opportunity to learn about the artist, view his work and understand the inspirations for his work. The gardens were beautifully designed making this and the Space Needle two attractions not to be missed.
