Actrip up the space needle is a must when in Seattle. We booked a combo ticket with the Chihuly Garden and Glass. Tickets can be booked 30 days out. You select the arrival time for the space needle (there are 15 minute arrival windows). You can stay as long as you wish at the top. There are tables and even a cafe. There is even a glass floor on which you can walk. A floor below is the famous revolving restaurant, for which you will need reservations. Upon leaving the Space Needle, walk next door to enter Chihuly. You will be amazed with the beautiful glass sculptures. Try and catch a glass blowing demonstration in the courtyard.

Seattle is gorgeous, so the views from the Space Needle are absolutely breathtaking! Compared to other observation towers I've visited such as the John Hancock and Willis towers in Chicago and The Empire State Building in New York, Seattle seems to have gotten their visitation down to a science. You have to pre-choose a time slot in order to avoid long lines. Most of the wait allows you to look at special facts about the Needle so you aren't bored while waiting. Our wait was about 15 minutes. The wait at the Willis tower in Chigago was 20 minutes to go up the elevator and an hour to wait in line for the glass floor skydeck. By the way, the lower, spinning observation deck is already made of glass, so everyone can take photos and selfies without waiting in a line. Also, special bonus, if you get a little tired or hungry or thirsty, there is a cafe and some wine bars complete with dining tables and chairs in the upper observation deck. And, if you feel brave to jump off the building, there is a bungee jumping area on the Space Needle. So, if you want some amazing photos of the scenery and the oceans, the Space Needle will take you to the right spot. I also recommend getting the City Pass if you have time for other adventures.

This is a must see attraction in Seattle! I had Spectacullar 360 view of the cityand you can enjoy it in the glass elevator. You can also go one floor down and try the revolving glass floor, if you are brave enough for that
