Spring Rafting Trip through the Great Smoky Mountains

Overview

Spring is a beautiful time in The Great Smoky Mountains. The vegetation returns, the buds bloom in the Smoky Mountains, and there’s no better way to experience the view than rafting down the mighty Upper Pigeon River.
Between Labor Day and Memorial Day we are no longer guaranteed dam release on the Pigeon River. This doesn’t mean we do not raft the river, it just means that we are rafting at natural river flows which can be unpredictable. You may discover the rush and excitement of class 3 and 4 rapids or you may enjoy a serene, peaceful scenic trip while rafting between the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee national forest. Just ask our staff what the river looks like that day, and we’ll let you know.

Joshton was amazing!!! This will now be a yearly tradition. Not only did we feel safe but learned so much about the area. Out cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Jacksonville, FL group will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

We had so much fun with the whole family. We went back the day after just to see him again. Definitely will go back in hopes of seeing the same tour guide there! Cant wait for next year!

We had a party of 5, and had the best time rafting through the mountains. Truly an experience with my family I’ll never forget. We had Rockin Robin as our guide and she was the ultimate best. Made everyone feel comfortable & encouraged fun for all of us. Such a gem person & an amazing, memorable time.
