We came across this by chance, seeing an ad on the top of a taxi in Manhattan. The tagline is Manhattan's most interactive museum, and it is definitely true. We had a fantastic time, testing ourselves, learning about spies and hacking, and finally receiving our own spy profile. We were ready to go on and on - perfect combination of displays, quizzes, challenges, and more. There is a cafe too and a great shop with puzzle books etc. Also lovely cafe next door. Recommend for families from age 6 to 99.

More than just a museum. This interactive, fun spy museum gives you puzzles and games to play to determine what kind of spy you would make. Brilliant fun and extremely entertaining when it’s pouring with rain in New York.

This was the least popular attraction we visited in NY. There were more staff than visitors. Even with Go card tickets it was on the expensive side for the length of the experience. Note that the psychometric and cognitive tests that are to be completed throughout the museum are really only suited to older kids/teens, and for people with reasonable English skills.

When it comes to the age recommendation, we always welcome everyone to the museum but the experience is optimized for pre-teens to adults. Younger spies will need the help of their agent handler (parent or guardian) to help them with the interactive components.
