St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview

This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.

Sandra was great! So kind and knew what she was doing, it was a great time! I would definitely recommend her as a tour guide for this tour.

Sandra told us history, stories with seriousness and humor at each site! Did not see ghosts, but enjoyed the tour! She showed us photos of paranormal activity at each site! She even slowed down the pace as my husband is partially disabled! Fun tour!

We went on a ghost tour last night around 7. This was during nights of lights affairs and our guide, whom I sadly don’t recall his name, did a phenomenal job at guiding, informing, and keeping us gathered. Sadly we did have to end our time on the tour early just by a few minutes in order to get to our next destination on time. But this wasn’t any fault on the tour or the awesome tour guide himself! This really is a very informative and overall interesting tour that not only has some really interesting folklore, stories, and tails but also a great amount of history that was truly cool to learn about! Awesome tour. Would do it again!
