St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview
This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our guide Jan was terrific ! She weaves quite an exciting and spooky tale of St Augustine. Her tour blended history and ghostly encounters. The 1 1/2 plus hours went by very quickly.

Your review of Jan's tour is spot on! Without knowing the history, the mystery becomes clouded or lost. Jan's unique ability to incorporate the right mix of both, history and mystery, keeps everyone wanting a little bit more! Thank you for your kind words and welcome to the family!

We enjoyed our tour with Mat, he was engaging and encouraged questions and interacting with him. He had some great stories, and even if you are not into ghost you will love the history that Mat tells you about St. Augustine. We enjoyed the evening, and the 90-minute walk was an easy walk full of great stories and humor. We went on the 8:40 pm tour so might not be good for small children as we were up pretty late for them. But good for all ages
