St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview

This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.

Outstanding ghost host! What a ghoulish great time! Matt was very entertaining and knowledgeable about St. Augustine. He was so engaging, and you could tell he really loves being a “caretaker.” We highly recommend this experience!

We took our tour on August 1st 2020 and our tour guide was Jan. Jan was absolutely phenomenal! I loved the passion and love that she brought to the experience! It made the tour so much more enjoyable because of the great energy she brought to the tour! I have been on multiple ghost tours and this one by far was the best experience I have had and that all had to do with Jan. If your in St. Augustine and get to take a tour with Jan you are in for a treat. She brought such a personal touch to the tour which I really appreciated. Overall the company that does the tours (A Ghostly Encounter) was great! We were running a little late and when we got there they where so welcoming and helpful. I am sure all tour guides there are amazing. If your are wanting to take a ghost tour go with them! Thanks Jan for such a great time!!
