St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview

This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.

While in St Augustine our group enjoyed the Ghost Tour led by Rob. It was interesting, full of history, and informative, as well as being very entertaining! Rob made the stories of old St Augustine come to life as we walked through the historic part of the the town over to the Castillo de San Marcos. He shared many stories of things that happened in the past that make you look at St Augustine from a”ghostly” perspective. Fun!

This was a very interesting ghost tour. Lots of cool sightseeing and stories. Unfortunately the group I went with brought a lot of kids, this is not a kids activity. If your kids can’t be quiet and listen to stories, don’t bring them on this tour. I captured a couple mysterious pictures as well!
