St. Johns Pass Mangrove Paddle

Overview
We love to paddle out to the sandbar in John's Pass. There are some mangrove islands and a tunnel to paddle through. The water is calm on the bay so it's easy for beginners and fun for more experienced paddlers. It takes about 30 minutes to get out there. It's less than a mile from our starting point. We launch from the dock at Treasure Bay Resort & Marina. Parking is free. There is plenty of wildlife along the way. We see ospreys, pelicans, and a variety of birds. We often see dolphins and sometimes manatees.

Fun place to go shop. We stopped in and walked around for a couple of hours. We dId some shopping and had dinner. We had a lot of fun. Parking is not great. We had to pay 20.00 to park. There is a store that has a parrot that is hilarious

Hi Andrea. We have FREE parking at our location at Treasure Bay Resort & Marina. It looks like you posted your review here for a different business. We are a paddleboard and kayak rental and tour company. We lead our guests to the sandbar and mangrove tunnel on their kayaks or paddleboards. It looks like you are reviewing a location in John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. It gets really busy there and you need to park in a paid space or the parking garage. If I go to John's Pass, I ride the electric bike because of the parking.

We had a good time on this paddle board tour. Our tour guide was very chill and knowledgeable about the area. If youā€™re going to book this, I would recommend getting a full nights rest before and staying hydrated, as well as being a little physically fit. Itā€™s definitely a full body workout! Overall, it was really fun and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The views of the bay from the sandbar are gorgeous and the water is warm and nice to swim in.

Thanks! The tides were stronger than usual because of the full moon, but definitely be prepared to burn some calories.
