Doug, our guide with the purple Mohawk, showed us sections of St. Pete we never would have known about. We learned local lore, history, Interesting facts and a ‘secret’ restaurant. The waterfront and pier were beautiful and such fun to experience on a bike. Doug took great care to make sure we were always safe while riding. The St. Pete Biking Tours is right on the Pinellas Bike Trail and we would love to do a tour with them again.

Doug didn’t have to tour with just one traveler that signed up for that day, but he did. He asked my interests and tailored the tour to meet this need. His tour was awesome. In addition to the history of St. Pete, he shared restaurant options and other ideas for getting to know the town. A+ tour! The bikes are new and offer a comfortable ride- even for the beginner rider.

It was my best experience during a pretty active week in St. Pete. A slow ride with frequent stops and great stories at every stop, an impressive Downtown, but most importantly Doug, our guide, who loves his city and knows its history, all this makes this tour a great choice for all who are interested in St. Pete and its history.
