Overview

This tour is for you if you are looking for a unique food experience, a romantic night out, or to just have fun socializing with friends and family. This 3.5-hour walking tour of downtown St Petersburg will immerse you an exciting and educational culinary experience.

We will be walking to several different family-owned establishments meeting local artisans and eating sampler plates specifically chosen as representative of each place. After the tour we will give you suggested places to spend the rest of your evening. Get ready for a great culinary tour giving you a behind-the-scenes experience of local culture, food, fun & laughter.

Tours require a total minimum of 4 guests. If your party is 1-3 guests, you may be requested to join a tour group on another date! We strive to accommodate the first-choice dates of all guests! Thank you in advance for considering a tour experience to help support several local businesses!

What To Expect

St. Petersburg

Join us on a 3.5-hour twilight culinary journey of Downtown St Petersburg, where we will be stopping at several restaurants, indulging in samplers/appetizers that reflect the unique cuisine of each establishment. We will wind our way through downtown St Pete's most coveted establishments. Our progressive culinary journey is set along the waterfront and intertwined with local history, art, culture, and current events!

Olivia was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable about St Petersburg and enthusiastic about where we would be going . We really enjoyed our tour and based on the tour we we know where to take our friends and family when they visit (we live in Zephyrhills) The restaurants selected were varied and food superb - didn’t leave hungry. We have done foodie tours in other cities and this was among the best.

Tour was fun and our tour guide Lauren was excellent with lots of knowledge about St Pete. Although the restaurants we went to were very nice I believe we could have made each stop a little shorter in order to get to more places. Also not sure getting pizza was what I had in mind when booking a food tour. A little more walking to off the beaten path restaurants might be good to squeeze in

We appreciate the feedback & suggestions. Our tours have been in operation for 5 years and we've always stopped at three restaurants, one dessert stop and the extra treat of the art gallery tour. Your ticket has to cover: food, sales tax and gratuity for each restaurant server. (Ideally, we end up with some tour company profit, too, since this is a locally-owned small business). We strive to provide a sampling of several places and still keep the ticket prices affordable for everyone. You were part of a big group of 10 people so food service at each restaurant definitely takes some time to prepare fresh food. We are always looking for restaurants that want to partner with us; most are so busy that they simply cannot accomodate quick turnarounds of big tour groups. If you know of any, I'd certainly welcome an introduction to the GM or decision maker! Thank you again, for providing your insight!

We had an issue with the meeting location, but our tour guide, Lauren, found us! Once we started, we felt that we were in good hands. It was a small group, with people of differing ages and backgrounds, but we all got along and enjoyed each other’s company. We really likes the tacos, pizza, gelato and art gallery. The pork belly came in small pieces and was good. However, the sausage board was dry and not easily divided for the group: we had four links for 7 people. Perhaps something easier to split and not a second pork product would be more welcome.

Thank you for the feedback! The sausage board is a signature dish of the restaurant-all sausages are made in-house. It's a selection of 4 sausages: smoked beef, bacon jalapeno cheddar, chicken chorizo and one pork. We generally have 30 minute breaks in between the walking points of the historical & informative tour of the city so the restaurant partners have graciously partnered with us, to provide sampler selections of their signature dishes. This offers visitors and locals an opportunity to experience different local eateries without the commitment of a full meal. Lauren sent you a text with the address, a screenshot of the meeting place, the pin and then picked you up at Starbucks. Thank you for recognizing her professionalism!
