We missed our originally scheduled boat tour. We called and spoke with the tour organizer. They confirmed availability for the next boat which was scheduled to leave 1hr later. But they demanded an additional $50 to move our family of 2 young children to the next boat. We perceived this as petty given they had already confirmed availability on the next boat. And that they were unlikely to sell out that boat in the 1hr left before boarding. This 1-star review is a consequence of their petty treatment of our family and of our little ones.

Unfortunately it is like airlines we do sell out and save seats for reservations, when you need to change we must charge a small change fee as there is a maximum capacity and each life on a boat counts as a passenger

The tour is inexpensive and a great way to see the statue. We were annoyed because the bartender said they ran out of everything on the last tour, so we couldn't get a beer/wine or even a soda for my kid. Only water. Disappointing since the open bar was a selling point for us. And the tour guide was about 5 minutes behind the boat - everything she brought up was way behind us and we could no longer see the things she was talking about. Some of it might have been interesting if we could have seen it. I have to assume this tour is much better when you can buy refreshment and the tour guide actually is on pace with where the boat is.

You must be referring to another tour as we do not have nor sell any open bar packages. We only have a cash option

Great boat cruise, well informed, great price! The boat went really close to the Statue of Liberty and allowed time for pictures. The only thing was that it was a little hard to find the pier. Overall, great value, recommend it highly!
