I use trip advisor often as I feel they offer yours and events that have been verified. I typically have terrific experiences with trip advisors offerings. However, trip advisor was most likely the victim of a scam, which meant I was scammed as well. From the start much went wrong. First, although the tour was confirmed for 1:45, I received a voicemail saying that was. N error and there are 2 trips. One at 9 AM and one at 1 PM. No big deal for us. Although I ordered and paid for a fast track ticket, the tour operator didnāt honor it, and when I asked for a supervisor, he ( Caesar) said he didnāt know what he can do and that we all had fast track. After all this, we arrive at the Statue of Liberty and as get off the ferry at 2:20, our tour guide says we have to be back on online to board the ferry at 2:45. That gives us 25 minutes.
My suspicion grew further when I was talking to our tour guide in side the museum about our problems and she said I have to leave the museum, they ( officials) donāt like her being in there. Needless to say we couldnāt enjoy the statue and Ellis island. I spent $599. To treat our family for a fun excursion, paid for fast track and we didnāt get anything close to what the tour described.
