What To Expect

Castle Clinton National Monument

Hear the history of America's first immigration station, Castle Clinton, before hopping on a ferry to Liberty Island. Take in the stunning views of New York Harbour.

Statue of Liberty

Disembark on Liberty Island and get up close and personal the Statue, as your guide tells you the story of the origins of Lady Liberty and why she almost wasn’t built at all. Your guide will help you navigate the crowds and escort you to the entrance of the Statue Museum, where you can explore (with an audio guide) and see artifacts including the original torch she once held in her hand.

Ellis Island

Your guide escorts you on the ferry from Liberty Island to Ellis Island.

Ellis Island Immigration Museum

Your guide will prepare you for your visit to the moving Ellis Island Immigration Museum, ( audio guide) to ensure you make the most of your time there. Entrance tickets are provided to allow you to explore at leisure and at your own pace, before using your return tickets to ferry back to Battery Park

Had a great tour with Thalia! She kept our group together and well informed on where to go and how to get there from the Ferry to Liberty Island! She shared a wealth of information about the island and the Statue itself - which was very interesting! Highly recommend this tour!

Ryan made our experience fantastic from start to finish. We have traveled all over the world and it is very easy to say that Ryan was THE BEST guide we have ever had . He is very smart, knowledgeable, personable and just really extraordinary. He made the whole group feels comfortable and wow we learned a lot about the status of Liberty . We laughed , learned and had a lot of fun. Our 8 years son was included in everything, Thanks to Ryan , the tour was a little lengthy for him but Ryan challenged him to be interested all the time. Thank you Ryan.

Amazing morning with Walks and a great guide Jacob, who was making his job with a true passion and mix loads of historical information with great jokes. Somehow he managed to give a lot of attention to every member of his group. I truly recommend you to have a ride to Ellis Island with "Take Walks" - for sure you will enjoy the story and experience.
