Live Guided Option: (Classic&Premium) Due to site regulations your tour guide might not be able to accompany you inside the sites; regardless, they will offer a complete explanation of what you will experience inside
Live Guided Option: (Classic&Premium) Please make sure to arrive at the meeting point on time. The guided tour with a live guide begins promptly at 9:30 AM and cannot be delayed.
Premium Option: This option includes an Interactive Audio Guide on your phone to supplement the explanations provided by the guide in places where he/she is not allowed to lead. We recommend choosing this option to enhance your experience
Basic Option: Please note that you must go directly to the ferry at your selected time, near "The View at Battery Park" Beer Garden. There is no need to go to any other meeting point. Please make sure to show the additional ticket sent by Amigo Tours to gain access. As a reminder, this option only includes the interactive audio guide and does not include live commentary
Due to the security check to go on board the ferry every client has to wait a line. This line can take until 2 hours depending on the affluence. We recommend taking a hat and suncream on summer and you can also use this time to make turns and use the toilette
Please note that luggage, scooters and other bulky objects are not permitted on the ferry. We cannot be held responsible if you are denied access with any of these items.
On days where the volume of visitors may be higher, such as: holidays, there may be long lines to enter the ferry, monument and museums.

We will travel aboard the ferry to the Liberty Island, our guide will give you a brief explanation of the route.

Statue of Liberty

Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed millions to New York City and the United States. You will be able to get up close and personal to this international symbol and learn the history behind the statue and how it came to be on Liberty Island. We will provide you with the audio guide, so that you can explore the area on your own

Ellis Island Immigration Museum

On Ellis Island you will visit the National Museum of Immigration to learn about the journey of the millions of immigrants who passed through the island from 1892-1924, arriving in America, in search of a better life.

I traveled all the way from NC to go on this tour with my cousin. When we arrived we asked around about our tour guide because it was 9:35am and the trains were running late, but I would think there would have been a grace period due to it being NYC. I called the number and it kept giving me an answering machine so we left a couple of messages. We never heard back. Then I finally found another number which didn't work. I finally talked to a human and she tried to get in touch with our tour guide and they still never answered her back. She then told me she would email me back and I never received an email from her either. I finally found on the website where I can state my issue. I then received an email stating that my tour guide was at the meeting area until 9:47am which was a lie because I was there at 9:35am asking another tour guide if she was ours and she stated she wasn't with amigos tours. So they told me I will not receive a refund because their guide said he waited until 9:47am which if that was the case I wouldn't be writing this review. I am just disappointed with how this company does not communicate with one another. I honestly was excited to see my Yaya's name at Ellis Island and see the Statue of Liberty, but that did not happen and I don't know if I will be making it back to NY. But I hope others have a better experience than I did with this company.

Problems with the guide, we apparently weren’t on his list (we bought tickets stating we were WHITH that guide) , he sent us to the checkpoint without taking any responsability saying he was « free lance » as an excuse, no help at all from him or the company and had some difficulties to get a refund… Very disappointed as we were looking foward to this visit :((
