Salem is nearly 400 years old and just like all of us, it has a dark side. An underbelly wrought with stories for the ages. Join us for our 90 min evening walking tour as we wander through the shadows and hear stories about pirates and pepper, secrets of the oldest cemetery in Salem, brutal murders, strange legal battles, curses, spiders, torture, and of course a ghost story or two. We invite you to be part of our story and learn why true history is Better Than Fiction. -All tour guides are licensed by the City of Salem and are professional storytellers .

We had a great time on this walking tour! We brought our 10 year old and it was long enough to hold her attention without being too graphic or scary. The tour guide/owner was personable and informative, and clearly shares a passion for the history of Salem. You will learn so many cool things that make you appreciate the deep, rich history Salem has to offer! 10/10 recommend!

We had a really good time! Started off a little slow, but then the stories Jeff told got increasingly dark and gruesome. The best part was they were all true stories and gave an incredible picture of the history of Salem. He's knowledgeable, gives you context, is quite funny, and takes you to some great spots around the area. Would recommend!

The guide was very knowledgeable as well of fun. Very interactive with his customers. Would suggest this tour to anyone visiting Salem!
