This one-hour cruise takes you under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. Looking up from directly below, I was impressed by the Kinmen Bridge and the technical and economic power that completed it nearly 90 years ago. However, please be careful if you are vulnerable to the ship as it eats the Pacific waves and winds properly. It was also a pity that we were unable to enter the bow section in front of the bridge.

Thanks for your review. You must have been on the Harbor Emperor as the bow on the boat on the second deck is temporarily off limits. It's become human nature that everyone wants to do the Titanic moment. But if you were effected by salty sea breeze on other parts of the vessel, you'll be happy that it was closed. It will be back open soon enough.

It was my first time experiencing this. We passed under the Golden Bridge, then returned to the bay, passed by Alcatraz Island, and returned to Pier 39. There were no waves that day, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable cruise in the bay with almost no rocking. There is a ticket booth in front of Pier 39, so people who are there on the day can purchase tickets there.

We combined the boat tour with a visit to the aquarium and it was great. The weather was absolutely great, plenty of sun and no fog. The panorama was really fantastic and the time (2:30 p.m.) was also very good. I can only recommend it. The photos were sensational. Yes, the boat was very full, but it was a lot of fun. We were at the top and so you could really see a lot. Highly recommended. We did the tour in conjunction with the City Pass and everything worked wonderfully. When we drove through the bridge, you suddenly felt very small. The back of Alcatraz is also well worth seeing, as you couldn't see it on the drive to Alcatraz, very nice bay tour.
