Street art tour at Soho

Overview
This tour is dedicated to the spectacular street art of Manhattan’s most chic and fashionable neighborhood.

We will stop by some of the most inspiring street art of Soho, we'll point out architectural interventions made by some sassy artists back when the avaunt-grade art ruled the neighborhood

We will learn about the cultural developments of the neighborhood, from the time Soho was an abandoned industrial site and what led it to become home to some of the most talked about street art.

We will see how street art is used as a tool for political and social statements, learn about passing trends, and influences from the art world.

We'll take a peek at some of Soho’s community gardens, antique stores and fashionable boutiques. We'll also point out local restaurants and stores worth visiting, breakthrough architecture, and other wall murals you can check out independently at the end of the tour.

I had been at three of the Chelsea gallery tours twice with Maya and once with Tal. Their tours are one of my favorite and a must when ever I am in NY. All three times they had taken us to incredible galleries and hidden gems. Exhibitions in NY are always changing, and there is always too much to choose from, which can be a bit overwhelming. The Chelsea gallery tours helps narrow the interesting things down and the places we went to seem to have been chosen very carefully since each time has been incredibly insightful, and with the explanations it just makes the experience all the more worthwhile. they are always up to date with the information and latest exhibitions. Highly recommended!! 5 stars!
