Street Food Tour of South Lake Union

Overview
Experience the heart of Seattle’s tech center through the lens of a culinary walking tour. Over the last decade, this historical neighborhood has become home to the expansive Amazon and Google campuses—and, consequently, a vibrant street food scene that beckons both tech denizens and Seattleites who crave some of the city’s best noshes—from hand-rolled sourdough bagels at Rubinstein to Korean-Hawaiian fusion Marination to perfectly a balanced beverage from Rachel’s Ginger Beer to Middle Eastern mezze at Mamnoon Street. Eat Seattle stops at six different locations in South Lake Union for tastings and stories behind the distinctive local businesses—with the opportunity to explore the outside of the famous Amazon Spheres. Bring your appetites and walking shoes (no coding required!)

What can I say?? This experience is a 100/10!!! We took the tour on a Saturday with Chef Sean! He is the ABSOLUTE best!! Even with the market busting with people, he was able to make the tour seem like the market was open just for us. He was fun, informative and loaded full of the 115-year history of the market as well as on the various vendors. We had so much fun, we ended up booking the tour again two days later. This time on a Monday with Chef Eric. Go Team Eric!! We were able to go to a few different vendors this time. Eric provided us with even more interesting market history as well as many culinary recommendations. Honestly, if we were in the city longer, we would have more than likely booked it again. If you are looking for a fun, interactive tour....this is an absolute MUST!!

What a great way to explore this neighborhood! Our guide, Chef Eric, was fun, personable, and super knowledgeable. He encouraged questions and participation from the whole group. We visited a lot of restaurants and every one was unique and delicious. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour.
