Set sail aboard the iconic schooner Suncoast Horizon as we set sail in the picturesque waters of Treasure Island, Florida!

You’ll set sail about an hour before sunset to give you plenty of time to catch the full range of hues painted on Mother Nature's canvas. We provide plenty of cozy warm blankets in case you get a chill, or want to cuddle on deck. If you love clean air, smooth sailing, postcard beautiful sunsets, and starry night skies then this romantic sailing trip is for you. Complimentary soda and bottled water available. BYOB allowed. Was scheduled for a sunset cruise but weather was bad so took them up on offer to reschedule for a 2-4pm sail. Captain was nice, clean boat and glad for free parking but the excursion was very boring. We literally went back and forth in front of a few hotels at a snails pace. There was no itinerary, no talking about the area, no scouting for dolphins, nothing. Our teens were falling asleep and adults kept checking their watches. Would be good for a sunset so at least you would have something to look at. Wished we would have saved our money and ate our appetizers on the beach.

Hey Janet! Thank you for joining us on one of our relaxing day sailing trips! Sailing is not for everyone and that is perfectly OK. For a high speed, dolphin watching and sightseeing tour, we can suggest our friends at Dolphin Racer Speedboat as your next stop. Our schooner is a working sailboat that is primarily powered by the wind. Most folks that sail with us are intrigued by sailing and how the sails work to move the boat through the water using only the wind, others could care less and that's fine too. Thank you for coming out!

Quite pleasant, even when the skies were cloudy! Everything as described. Very grateful that this was mellow and relaxing and NOT a party boat. Would maybe suggest telling people to arrive 15 min early for an on time departure? Oh, and BYOB.

Beautiful sailboat. Captain and mate were very nice. That said, we sailed for about 10 minutes then stopped & waited for the sunset for 1 1/2 hours, then sailed back. There were too many people to really move around the boat so we just sat there. It was beautiful and relaxing I guess but not really all that we were expecting for $65 a person. We talked to others when we got off who also expected more for the price.

Hi Caroline! Thank you for your comments! Once we leave the Pass and shut the engine off, we sail under the power of the wind, gliding through the water up to 3 miles offshore. Sometimes the wind is light and can feel like you are sitting still. Other times it's really windy and it can feel like you are on a roller coaster. Unfortunately, we can not control the wind but we do adjust our sails. Our guests are always welcome to leave the comforts of the seats and move around and explore, ask questions about sailing, and even take the helm our working schooner. We look forward to having you back out in the future or give us a call for other recommendations in the area whether it be speed boats, jet ski's, or dinner cruises.-Richie
