What To Expect

Grand Teton National Park

We offer Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours.Uncover the best wildlife hotspots of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National park with a knowledgeable and experienced guide at EcoTour Adventures. We will hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of seasonally available wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.

Our tour with Mike exceeded expectations. The various guides work together extremely well so as to communicate where the wildlife can be found. We encountered a large herd of bison, a bull moose, a mother moose and baby crossing a stream, elk, marmot, osprey, pronghorn and various other wildlife. Mike really took care of us. My wife and I give this tour our highest recommendation!

I have visited Grand Teton National Park on my own in the past. This time I decided to take a tour. I highly recommend Jackson Eco Tours. The guide knew where to go to see the wildlife and the amazing views of the Tetons. They are also very protective of the environment. The only disappointment was that one of the drives had been closed by the National Park Service because the bears were active in that area. People do stupid things around wildlife, i.e. taking selfies too close or feeding the bears. The wildlife suffers because of our actions so I completely understood. Next time. . .

Our guide, Taylor, was super-knowledgeable about the area, the geology and wildlife. He tried hard to get us wildlife to see. While we did see antelope, moose, elk and bison, to set expectations, it was not non-stop wildlife. But the vistas WERE non-stop. Between the two, it’s a wonderful trip. Eco Tours does a great job outfitting the Tour. They bring coffee/tea, waters and snacks. They have fantastic binoculars. The roof of the van has hatches so you can pop up quick for critter sittings or scenery photos.
