What To Expect

Grand Teton National Park

We offer Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours.Uncover the best wildlife hotspots of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National park with a knowledgeable and experienced guide at EcoTour Adventures. We will hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of seasonally available wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.

We had an amazing sunrise tour with Shaun. He was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of the local wildlife. We were able to see most everything in the park, although of course wildlife is always unpredictable. The large network of other tours happening at once helps, as they are able to fan out across the park and text when they find something. The equipment (binoculars for everyone, plus a monoscope) was excellent and Shaun was quick to help take photos with your phone using their monoscope, resulting in awesome photos. They also offered plenty of snacks and drinks for the trip, even offering to make fresh coffee! Overall one of the best parts of our stay in Jackson / Grand Teton.

We had an amazing tour with our guide, Ben. He told us all about the area and the wildlife. He answered all of our questions and his passion for his work was obvious. We saw moose, bison, elk and pronghorn. We return and hope to get Ben as our guide again.

Our trip was with Drew who was super knowledgeable about the animals and the Grand Teton’s history. In fact, he was a environmental studies high school teacher. We started out by getting snacks and coffee for the early ride. We told Drew our top priority for animal viewing and he delivered. We saw everything on our list! And we talked about the geologic, animal and human history of the area. It was a super fun and educational morning!
