I was disappointed with this experience because it was a mess from the get go. I booked the option (paying extra) for transportation. I did not get any confirmation after the booking. When I followed up the night before, I got a very confusing email that gave instructions where to go for the cruise, but also a line about people that booked the transport option. However, these instructions werenāt clear, so I followed up by emailing and requesting confirmation. Turns out, the website is incorrect. I paid extra for nothing as transportation does not happen for customers, and I had to make my way there last minute by taxi. I had to call the office the morning of - and had I had clear instructions, I could have made my way there by walking 30 mins. Even though I managed to reach on time, we had to wait 20 mins before getting on board anyway!
The appealing part of this cruise was the opportunity to be on the water at sunrise. The night before, my booking (done through Viator) was changed to 9am instead. Frankly, I should have cancelled the tour but it was too late to do so by the time things got annoying.
The only plus - the French toast breakfast on the boat was nice. Saw one whale (although thatās not the fault of the company). So all in all, I feel like I spent a lot of money and time to have breakfast on the water. Would I do it again, even at sunrise? Sure, just not with this company.
