Just north of Phoenix, enjoy an approximate 45-minute hot air balloon ride over the Sonoran Desert. Once you arrive, watch as your balloon inflate. After your flight, relax with a champagne breakfast served on picnic tables with linens. Rides are shared with up to 20 travelers on board. This activity does take up to 4 hours.

My party and I attempted to ride on a Saturday. Unfortunately, due to recent rains, the crew was unable to launch the balloon, despite the pilot earnestly seeking out a safe spot. We were able to reschedule later in the week. When we arrived for the second time, we were again told that it might be cancelled. However, the weather shifted in our favor. The views were beautiful, the ride was relatively smooth, and the crew was fun, especially Earl, (ride in his van if you can)! After landing, we were told by our guide that they had seriously considered cancelling that morning, but they remembered our party had rescheduled for this day. "So we had to give it a try." Could this have been a little embellishment to make us feel important... maybe. But, I certainly felt special! It was incredible! Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing experience! The first time we tried to go, it had to be canceled due to rain (after many attempts by the company at multiple locations to make it work). Our driver Earl was wonderful- very knowledgeable and hilarious! We rescheduled for another day and were prepared for another cancelation due to wind. The other balloon companies nearby had already called off. But they saw us and knew we had been canceled the last time, so they told us they especially wanted to make it work for us. They adjusted our process for boarding to make sure we were safe, and it was just a spectacular view. We even got a certificate for the flight! If I could give 10 stars I would.
