This was a very unique experience that I recommend doing at least once in your life. Although I expected the balloon to go higher, and the fly for longer, it was still enjoyable and very unique. The crew was so friendly and helpful, and told us many interesting facts about the balloon itself, some previous experiences, etc. The pilot was very qualified and I always felt safe. My favorite part was getting to walk inside the balloon while it was being filled with air. It felt like a whole different world. I would definitely recommend this activity. As for the champagne breakfast, I wasn't the biggest fan of the food itself. They had strawberries, which looked sad and old, and their sausage gave me food poisoning. The champagne was very good though.

Arizona Balloon Safaris provided the best hot air balloon experience we have ever been on (so far), and yes we've been hot air ballooning before. Because so much is left to Mother Nature our landing was "extra spicy" but well within the safety requirements dictated by the FAA (AND SUPER FUN!!). Our Pilot/Captain Randy was very professional. Also, because I am a Certificated Pilot with the FAA who also holds the UAS Certificate (drone pilot) Randy and I were able to collaborate and flight plan and he allowed me, as a paying-passenger, to get some beautiful aerial footage of our family voyage. (I am simply stating this for the FAA and Governmental Regulations, I was not hired or sponsored by AZ Balloon Safaris- the Drone Footage was for me and my family personally- go look for the videos, you can see my family.) We highly recommend Arizona Balloon Safaris. Don't forget to check out the hand painted ornaments. And look for my drone footage on social media.

I Was celebrating my 60th birthday with my wife. We got off to a slow start due to safety concern (wind issues) so we had to go to a different site. We were finally able to put the largest balloon in the world together and get air born. It was a GAS! We were aloft for about 75 minutes. The sights of the desert were magnificent on this beautiful day. The crew was efficient, courteous and professional. Once back safely on the ground we had breakfast waiting for us, it was a very nice touch . All in all it was a great time that was well worth the money.
