Just north of Phoenix, enjoy a 45-minute hot air balloon ride over the Sonoran Desert. Once you arrive, watch as your balloon inflates. This was a very organized event- the crew all knew what they were supposed to do and the pilot was careful to make sure everything he did was safe for the passengers. He was personable and we could tell that he loved doing what he does. His crew went out of their way to even assist us in taking our photos. The landing "ceremony" was fun and the Champagne breakfast was great. One couple on the flight got engaged.

This was the first time I ever went on a hot air balloon. It started with a guy named Earl. He was our driver and explained everything in a really fun, entertaining way. Randy, the balloonist, takes a lot of care and precision as far as determining where to start setting up so that he can guarantee a safe ride. This is the largest hot air balloon in the United States, and there were 20 people aboard. Even with that, Randy explained everything while we were up there, and we were even able to assist a little bit in the setup. It was one of the most entertaining and exciting days that I've had. I set this up for my husband and I as a birthday present to myself, and I was thrilled that we did this. The breakfast was good; everything about the day was perfect. I am saying all this even though I am not a morning person and had to be at the van by 6:30 a.m. which meant I had to get up at 5 a.m. Even with that, I highly highly recommend this company if you ever want to take a hot air balloon ride.
