Going into this, I was terrified. My then boyfriend has been planning the outing since my birthday back in January, and every time we decided to go, it rained. Finally, we decided to just go for it, even though on our trip it was scheduled to rain. We went out to the beautiful vineyard at sunrise, and there were just a few clouds in the sky. It was actually going to happen. We drove around to a few spots to check the wind and if it would be a good place to launch. Our pilot settled on the 3rd location. After a few minutes of putting together the balloon, it was our turn. I was still very anxious, but I got in, and we started to lift off. It was so quiet, and there was no bumpiness to the ride at all. We climbed to about 3700 feet, and my then boyfriend proposed to me. We were in the balloon for over an hour, and were able to take in the whole moment and the landscape. It was simply beautiful. We landed, in someone's backyard, and then drove back to the winery for mimosas and a light breakfast. I couldn't eat out of sheer happiness, but the food and drinks were amazing. This was one of the best days of my life, and I will never forget that day. Thank you to the staff and our pilot for making this day so incredibly special. We hope to return soon, and continue the adventure! <3

We took off on a gorgeous Thursday morning with the only sound of our presence being the balloon's propane burner that the pilot used intermittently to allow to ascend. The balloon silently floated on air currents, sometimes dropping low enough to brush the blooming orange trees and smell the fresh blossoms, sometimes rising several thousand feet in the air allowing us a birds-eye view of Temecula Wine Country. The entire experience was wonderfully peaceful, from the veteran pilot and friendly crew to the champagne breakfast back at Vindemia Winery after the flight. Pioneers in the industry and experts in customer service, I highly recommend flying with California Dreamin'!
